+ The property is a barn which was recently renovated to a very high standard, an eclectic combination of modern minimalism (polished concrete floors and lighting) with Balinese exotic wood furniture, which works surprisingly well. Room sizes are generous, bed mattresses are soft but of excellent quality and bathrooms new. There are large communal areas indoors and outside, the indoor one features a fully equipped kitchen and a huge exotic wood table where breakfast is served. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, with savoury and sweet options. Hosts Patrizia and Guido are extremely sociable and invited us spontaneously to a drink in their home. + We happened to stumble upon Il Fienile completely by chance and were absolutely thrilled from the very first moment we arrived. A true gem, located near the Po River in Reggio Emilia. Patricia, her charming three daughters, and her husband Vido are the most wonderful hosts one could imagine. We haven’t stayed in such an amazing B&B in a very long time. The rooms, the amenities, the charm, the pool, the garden, all of it… for us, it was simply a wonderful oasis of well-being. Grazie Mille for everything and see you again soon!

+ Nestled on the outskirts of the charming town of Guastalla in the Po Valley, this agriturismo is an absolute gem. The property is decorated with impeccable taste, blending classic Italian style with an abundance of Balinese elements. Every detail feels carefully considered, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and uniquely inviting. Our room was stunning — featuring a romantic canopy bed and a stylish, thoughtfully designed bathroom. The expansive garden is a dream in itself, with a beautiful pool and plenty of secluded spots to relax in the shade of grapevines or a serene bamboo grove. Yet, the heart of this retreat beats in its people. Patrizia and her family welcomed us with the warmth of old friends, their hospitality as generous as the landscape around us. Mornings began with the scent of freshly baked pastries, accompanied by local cold cuts, cheeses, and eggs — a breakfast both abundant and heartfelt. This is not just a place to stay; it is a place to arrive, exhale, and remember. We loved it so much that we decided to stay one extra night.

+ I was waiting to write this feedback, after my stay in this place. One thing, which makes it special, is that I became first guest of this hotel. Patrizia (the owner of the place), great me personally and showed all the facilities. I really liked the place. It is not an usual type of B&B, but rather family style, very comfortable and nice. It mixes old style of Italian houses (with high sealing, and traditional old ceiling beams with quite modern Indonesian design doors and bathroom facilities. The bed under the canopy is marvelous (gives you feeling of protection and security). The bed, in general, is very comfortable. There is a common are for 3 rooms, with kitchen, big table and other facilities, which makes it a nice place for some evening discussions, table games, etc. I am not describing facilities itself simply because it has everything needed, starting from needed quantities of towels ending up with cups, tea pots, etc. I will definitely be back to this place if I will be in this area. Very much appreciated my state and would recommend this place for everyone who plans to be in that area. By the way, it is quote close to Mantova (about 30 minutes drive), so could be good place to spent a night or two :) Enjoy the state. Thank you Patrizia!
