+ Fantastic pub and accommodation, clean and quiet. Ate dinner there and the food was out of this world. Fantastic pub and accommodation, clean and quiet. Ate dinner there and the food was out of this world.
- The bed was the noisiest bed we have ever slept in. To be honest we didn’t get much sleep. With the food that we sampled being so good, we feel we missed out on a fully cooked breakfast the next day due to the chef not being available. We were supplied with a continental breakfast in the room on the day of arrival which could have been better. There was also very limited tea, coffee and milk in the room. As the accommodation was “self check out”, basically leaving the room key on the back of the door on our way out the next morning, we didn’t really see the staff apart from checking in and eating in the pub. + Very close to many attractions and within the Peak District area. Well kept and maintained building thinking the building is from 1792. The pub is very nice, it looks small but the dining can accommodate good number of people. The breafast is served freshly cooked.
− There's nothing not to like with this lovely inn.
