+ La Boissellerie is a beautiful country property with vegetable and flower gardens and forest surroundings. Everything was very clean and well kept. Our room had a table and chairs—a practical detail we appreciated. Breakfast was lovely, and the noon checkout allowed for a relaxed morning. There are several restaurants in town. We booked at the last minute and arrived more than an hour after the latest check-in time. The owner was away and later explained, with a sincere apology, that a Booking.com calendar error had left the property available when it was supposed to be closed. Fortunately, her mother was there and kindly prepared our room while we went into town for dinner. She also made us a beautiful breakfast the next morning. We appreciated the warmth and care with which they handled the unexpected arrival. Good to know: Google Maps made the property difficult to find, especially after dark. Confirm directions before setting out, and if booking at the last minute, make sure your reservation and arrival time have been acknowledged. + The double room was clean and comfortable. The hostess was lovely and friendly, and the breakfast she served was amazing! Home made jams, locally made apple juice... absolutely amazing! The location itself was set away from the nearby town and surrounded by woods and countryside. Next time we'll stay longer than the 1 night!
