+ Ledesma is older Spanish town, and La Clerecia de Ledesma is well positioned right in town. Place is lovely and well run.
− But right now in May 2026 and for I am guessing another 3-4 months there is major construction of the streets in town. Literally about a 1/4 of the town, unfortunately that detracts from enjoying the town. The ceiling in bathroom is low enough you could bump youur head unless you stay alert.

+ This historic building which has been sympathetically restored and turned into a hotel is nicely located in the old downtown area of Ledesma. Easy to find and reach by car from the main street coming from Salamanca. There is much character but with all the modern conveniences. Our room was nice with a comfy bed, modern bathroom and a small balcony facing the main church in distance. We had a lovely lunch meal which was freshly prepared with the best ingredients and amazing value for money.
