+ We were in Italy nearly a month, traveling through several cities with seven separate apartment rentals. Carla's Court in Lierna was the unmatched highlight of the entire trip! Ivana contacted us shortly before our stay and suggested we meet at the train station (we had a car by then) and led us up to the very secluded community. She showed us our private parking spot right by the property and then gave us the tour of the facilities and the neighborhood. She is so delightful and kind, and the property is fully supplied with everything one could ever ask for. Some of the other rentals we enjoyed were rather bare of essentials, even though they were clean and very comfortable. But Carla's Court felt like someone's private home that we were watching for a little while. Cozy, private, quiet, quaint, clean - just fabulous. Fresh bottled water was chilling in the refrigerator, next to two bars of chocolate. "This is Italian chocolate," she beamed! The cupboards were stocked, cleaning supplies available should we need them, piles of blankets, tools, towels, etc. We want to go back so badly and spend a week!!! In addition to all the comforts of home, it included a stunning mountain setting just outside the door. + This place is located in amazing upper part of Lierna, old buildings and a lot of green around. Como lake is easily accessible and beach is one of the best I've visited on this lake. It feels like coming home to a friend, Really cozy. Air conditioning was a blessing at night. Massive thanks to owner, Ivana, for kindness and support
