+ A very nice appartment, well decorated, cosy, very clean. Modern bathroom and comfortable good bed. It situated in a beautiful old farm with a very nice garden. We were on route between Spain and Netherlands. Perfect! The owner completes it! He's a nice guy who played some of his (and ours) favorite songs on guitar for us. + Clean and spacious. Plenty of room for you to park. The decor was fantastic, very well put together and fantastic host. Used this place as a half way stop on the way to Disney as not far off the main route.

+ Ferne du Tilleul is a converted house between Roye and Compiegne on the Oise/Somme border. The upper floor is used for visitors, there are at present 3 bedrooms, a small single, a large double, and an extended double which is ensuite, though I believe other rooms are being developed. Breakfast is served downstairs. The styling is very musical and "retro" ; the owner is a musician and collector and has a wide collection of original records ; and there are several guitars in the house. However, the facilities, the bathroom for example are new and modern (while still with retro styling). There is a television with Netflix and Wifi, there is also a reasonably strong phone signal. Breakfast is classic French with some home made jams/chutneys. Sebastian who owns and runs it is a very generous and friendly person. The garden area looks a comfortable place to relax ; we visited in February so it was a little cold outside.We visited twice in a week, but were just stopping over. It would be nice to spend more time there. Location is excellent for British visitors ; it's just off the old RN17 and runs parallel to the A1 autoroute, which is a mile or two away (though it is very quiet and peaceful) . It's an easy drive from the Channel Tunnel or the Ferry Ports. Conchy is a very quiet village, There is plenty of parking and it's easy to find. (Having said that our satnav sent us to the west of Roye down some very narrow roads ; it's much easier to go to the East of Roye) Recommended both for visiting the area, and access to other parts of France.

+ Responsive host and very friendly via communication. Warm welcome. We'd asked to borrow a bottle opener and host kindly let us use and borrow glasses =) Music on arrival and we loved listening to the vinyl records. Cosy home and we loved sitting by the fire and chatting; host Sebastien was cool. Beds super comfy and had the best sleep! My son got back in bed saying it was too comfy to leave it! Friendly and breakfast; home was lovely and bright the next morning as there was lots of natural light. Enjoyed a tour of the garden and listening to future exciting projects!
− Uncertainty but not a negative: When we arrived we were shown around and the host asked if everything was OK and checked we were happy, which we were. We just weren't sure initially how it works with the set up and if we were welcome to chill downstairs or if we were expected to go up to the room we were staying in. Host made us feel very welcome and put the fire on for us and we sat chatting until LATE! Lovely atmosphere and generous host.
