- Air condition did not work. Informed them, only got a massage says that it is Monday and noone in the hotel works on every Monday. so i had to put up with the room with no air con in mid summer euro heat! I was the only guest in the hotel, it did not mean i had to put up with poor hospitality. I paid full price, I did not get any discount from all these. Feeling like i got ripped off to be honest. Also, no toilet paper was in the room. I had to ask them for it. Also, I did not like the look the other guy (i think it was the lady's boss) gave me when i said hello to but he did not say anything back then proceeded to give me a condescending stare. + Great location in town. Rooms over looking the valley to Pietrapertosa with a balcony to enjoy the views. The restaurant " Al Becco Della Civetta" is a must, great food and views. A perfect stop when exploring Basilacata.

+ The room was a good size, clean and there was a great view.
− The were no staff on reception at any point during our stay. We had to go to the adjoining restaurant to check in, although there was no signage to say this. The lady who checked us in was lovely, but the fact we had to hunt the staff down for check in and check out was frustrating. Whilst the room was clean, we could not get the hot water in the shower to work, which was disappointing after a long day of wandering around.
