Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House and Self-catering Apartments is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features. There is private access to Grasmere lake-shore. Free parking is available on site.
Each of the stylish rooms has an en-suite bathroom, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee facilities and luxury toiletries. Most of the rooms have lake and mountain views. Our latest and very popular addition is an infrared sauna, which is free to use for house guests.
Opening hours at The Distiller's Arms gastro-pub, just a short stroll away, vary through the year - please ask as this may affect your breakfast options. The pub also offers a selection of Grasmere Distillery alcoholic drinks, which are brewed and distilled on-site at Lake View Country House and Self-catering Apartments. All guests receive a discount at The Distiller's Arms. Distillery tours are available.
Lake View Country House and Self-catering Apartments is situated just 4 miles from Ambleside town centre, a 20-minute drive from Windermere and a 30-minute drive from Keswick. The hotel offers a scenic location, with walking routes available from the front door.
