Lavelo Boutique Apartments is a cyclist-friendly base by Port de Tollos, a mountain village in the Vall de Seta, inland from Calpe and the Costa Blanca coast.
Five self-catering apartments in one restored building, set up for road cyclists who prefer to ride from the door instead of driving to the start.
CLIMBS FROM THE DOOR
Port de Tollos starts in the village itself. Coll de Rates (6.6 km at 5%), the climb professional teams use for winter training, Port de Confrides (7.5 km at 5.6%) and Port de Tudons (8 km at 4.5%) are all within riding distance, with loops of 50 to 130 km on quiet inland roads.
