+ Location was superb & just what we wanted. Quiet, secluded & within easy reach, by car, of nearby villages & towns & a great base for visiting surrounding areas. Clean & presented well. Although no oven, there were plenty of other appliances to cook meals. The view was just spectacular & the huge log burner gave out splendid heat every evening & plenty of logs available. An abundance of hot water was always available & a great shower too. So peaceful with very little passing traffic - only the odd car or tractor throughout the day. Location was superb & just what we wanted. Quiet, secluded & within easy reach, by car, of nearby villages & towns & ...
- Bedding was a bit sparce - only one feather pillow each - & a mid weight duvet. Feather pillows (not my preference) didn't offer good support, so sleep was not great. We also had to take the throw from the sofa as there was no top blanket for cold nights. (Visited end of October & it got cold at night) There was only the one throw on the sofa, so another throw & a couple of cushions there would have made it more comfy there too. Not enough toilet roll provided as we ran out on day 2 of 4 & none elsewhere in the property. Glad we had brought some of our own. Towels were a bit small & thin. Better quality towels & more than two each would be nice, also one needs to be bigger as the larger one provided was not big enough to wrap sufficenly around you. (& we are both slim build). Could do with a fly trap of some sort installing as flies were buzzing every evening in the roof beams. Bedding was a bit sparce - only one feather pillow each - & a mid weight duvet. + Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison au cœur des Pyrénées. La maison est très chaleureuse, confortable et parfaitement aménagée pour que les voyageurs s’y sentent bien. Les propriétaires ont vraiment pensé à tout dans les moindres détails afin de rendre le séjour agréable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil personnel du propriétaire, qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée et a pris le temps de nous faire visiter la maison. Une très belle attention également : nous avons eu le plaisir de goûter au miel local, gentiment offert en cadeau. Une délicate attention qui nous a beaucoup touchés. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour et recommandons vivement cette maison à tous ceux qui souhaitent passer un moment agréable et reposant dans les Pyrénées. Merci encore pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse !
