+ We'd really recommend this accommodation - its an easy drive from Dieppe and a perfect introduction to a holiday in France. The Chateau is really impressive; sensitively renovated with a contemporary design aesthetic; very comfortable bed and a luxury feel to the accommodation. The owners were friendly; informative and deservedly proud of the building, grounds and history. A big mention also to the gardens - this is its own mature arborium with absolutely stunning, majestic trees and a reason to stay in itself. It's not a hotel so no formal restaurant but bring a picnic and a bottle of wine and enjoy the tranquility and setting. Also, breakfast was tremendous, Ines prepped the best looking and best tasting breakfast we had throughout our trip (and we stayed in some really decent hotels). Credit to these two - there's a lot of old Chateaux in a poor state of repair across France and their determination to restore this property to its current impressive state is so commendable.

+ Our stay at Château d’Elbeuf-en-Bray was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, Frank and his family made us feel genuinely welcomed into what is clearly so much more than a beautiful château — it is a place filled with history, love, and extraordinary care. Our room was absolutely lavish, with the beautiful bathtub in the bedroom adding a wonderfully romantic and indulgent touch. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, and Frank’s recommendations on where to eat and what to experience locally were absolutely spot-on. But what made our stay truly special was the opportunity to learn about the history of the château and to hear about the loving restoration that Frank and his family have undertaken. Their passion for bringing this remarkable place back to life is evident everywhere you look, and being invited, even briefly, into that story made the experience feel incredibly personal. We stayed for only one night, but it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. A beautiful place, wonderful hosts, and an experience filled with warmth, character, history and just a little bit of magic. We would return in a heartbeat.
