+ The Manoir De Sully was an amazing visit. My wife, our 13-month-old, and I stayed a week in Sully, using it as a base to visit nearby Bayeux, the Normandy D-Day beaches, and the spectacular Le Mont Saint-Michel, to name a few. We truly couldn't have asked for a nicer trip. Surprisingly, the standout of our time in Sully wasn't the beaches, the towns, or the castles—it was our host, Nicholas. Every morning, we had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious continental breakfast of fresh baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolat, local honey, and preserves with Nicholas. He generously took time out of his busy day to explain the local culture, history, and surrounding sites, offering excellent recommendations. He even cooked us a fantastic dinner on our first night, featuring fresh fish he had personally picked up from the market in Port-en-Bessin. Traveling with a little one can be challenging, but Nicholas was unbelievably accommodating. He allowed us to schedule flexible breakfast times, provided a baby bath and crib, and even left a beautiful headscarf for the baby upon our arrival. He even let our little girl snack on delicious pears grown right in his garden. The house itself is wonderful, tucked away behind a church in the commune of Sully. It is a true historical landmark, with its latest addition dating back to 1460, yet Nicholas has tirelessly updated this piece of history with every modern amenity you could desire. If you are looking to visit Normandy, this is the place to book. The proximity to all the major sites, the lovely accommodations, and the amazing hospitality make this an easy choice. If my family is ever in Normandy again, we will certainly book with Nicholas. - William The Manoir De Sully was an amazing visit. + The room was massive and beautifully appointed with period furniture - the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The continental breakfast was really good with high quality croissants, preserves, honey and butter being used. We loved the location and the ease of getting to the areas we needed to visit - our host was incredible, he offered tourist information, history of the area, restaurant recommendations and was available for any queries/questions we had including a problem we had with our little dog, including re-accommadating us when we had to extend for our dogs treatment
− Not much, it was exceptional.

+ The location is a very old mansion with all modern facilities you need/want, without disrupting the historical atmosphere. Nicholas is a very friendly host who prepared a great breakfast every day. He also helps you out regarding tips for restaurants and places to visit. Check i was easy as Nicholas was there himself. The location in Sully is comfortably away from all the hassle of a large city. All you hear is nature around you. The historic village, Bayeux is only 4 km away and offers a choice of restaurants, shops and cafes. Discovering Normandy is great from this location with easy access to local and tol-roads. We will definitely return!
− It is related to the old structure of the house, which means that the toilet is a bit small for taller people like me. That's it.
