+ The food was fabulous. The family vibe from the staff was wonderful to observe, they truly care for each other. I liked that a lot. There is a terrace for private use, for each individual room. Beds were comfy and the room was large. They are extremely pet friendly and its a quiet rural location. There is free parking. If they could secure each individual terrace with fencing, I could of let my dog off lead, but he is young so I wasnt sure whether the borders to gardens are secure. - It is an old property so be aware there are quirks. I had a panic to start as couldnt get the sliding door to lock, but once I calmed down, I jiggled the door and it locked tight. The plug sockets were not near the bed at all which I didnt like, but it was a 1 night stop off, with my dog. I coped! The rooms definitely need a kettle, and coffee/tea/sugar as the bar/restaurant/reception is open limited hours. It is an old property so be aware there are quirks. + The location was convenient for a stopover. The manager was helpful, and having breakfast ready before we hit the road was nice. The coffee and croissants were delicious.
− Extra beds are not prepared for same-day bookings, so we had to set up the sofa bed ourselves, which was not very comfortable. The room was small, needed some maintenance, and there were quite a few mosquitoes.

+ Free parking, large spacious room. Your own private terrace overlooking an untidy grass area.
− This hotel has unfortunately gone down hill since our last visit 4 years ago. The hotel does not open until 18.00, but the owner thinks it is acceptable to turn up at 18.15 to a queue of people waiting to check in. The outside of the hotel looks very run down, i am surprised Logis have let a hotel look like this. The tv remote would not switch on the tv as the button didn't work on the remote but we did manage to turn the tv on manually. The shower head had a crack in it so water sprayed out it different directions. The whole bedroom and bathroom, toilet area needs a revamp.
