- One of the sleeping rooms has no external window. We stayed during a heatwave so it was exceptionally hot, and the house has two fans, but no airco, which is normal in Europe, but I think is important to mention. + The apartment was in a great location, in the heart of the old part of town, close to lots of bars and restaurants. It had everything we needed for our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend

+ Located in the middle of the old town, everything worth visiting is just a short walk away. The place is spacious. It’s well equipped with most things one would need on a holiday (though it’s worth checking the dishes as we found them dirty). The bed was beautifully set and the towels were fresh and soft.
− There’s two very busy bars right under the windows. As we slept in the inner bedroom, most nights we couldn’t hear them with the windows closed. There was a party one night though, that was quite loud even with the windows closed but it ended at midnight. I imagine summertime with the windows open could be quite noisy. The ventilation could be better, getting some fresh air to the bedroom takes a long time.

+ The location was right in the center of Bergerac's coffee and aperitif culture located in a historic pedestrian zone. Steps from the River and the central commercial zone too. One bedroom had a perfect bird's eye view of the night's activities. The shared bathroom / laundry was spacious and clean.
− The layout of the apartment was a little odd with the window light of the first bedroom passing through an interior window to illuminate the second bedroom which otherwise had only artificial lighting. It was fine, really and curtains allowed privacy for both.
