+ The location of property was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The location of property was perfect. The bed was very comfortable.
- It was difficult to get keys to the property when we arrived. The owners in house less than 10 feet away from The property did everything in their power not to have any interaction with us which was very unnerving. The accommodation was freezing cold when we arrived and took awhile to warm up because we didn’t know how to use the facilities and had to try it and see. No manuals for any equipment. The door to bathroom was a hanging/sliding pane of glass that seemed to slide open of its own accord. Didn’t provide any privacy and could easily to seen/heard from lounge area. The stairs to upper floor was very dangerous, was basically a ladder. We were not given any prior notice to this and had my husband not had his knees replaced last year, would have not been able to get up there. Lights on the stairs kept shorting out and we had to leave light on downstairs all night so when we got up during night to use the bathroom, we could see where we were going. My husband had to go downstairs backwards because not able to go down facing forwards as feet were over hanging treads and the headroom at the bottom would have knocked him out. Dangerous for children and elderly/infirm. We were told there were DVDs and board games for entertainment but all were in French. It was difficult to get keys to the property when we arrived. + The location was excellent, and the accommodation was clean, tidy and well presented. The owner was very helpful, friendly and a great communicator. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would happily stay here again.
− The steep steps to the top floor were a little difficult for my older friend, but they weren’t a major issue for a couple of days.

+ Very cute and charming cottage. Good proximity to all things, Normandy. Good for a couple or a small family. All amenities you would need. Only negative is not walkable to food or drinks. Otherwise, perfect.
− Not walkable to food or beverage. The stairs are challenging if you are an overweight American like me. 😊
