+ Location is excellent - quick drive from Beauval Zoo and lovely town, which you can walk to very easily. Cheap option if you just need somewhere to sleep and have planned excursions in the area.
− This studio is upstairs a converted wooden outbuilding with no insulation. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable - would be useful to warn guests. One fan was provided which was barely enough to keep us cool. Mattresses and pillows are well worn/used, consider upgrading. Cleanliness could have been improved - the floor was sticky and there were cobwebs in the bathroom. The toilet is impossible to ventilate and is very hot. Supplies of toilet paper and coffee pods could be more generous (two pods for a family staying three nights seems a bit cheap). Description mentions available parking spot in courtyard but when we enquired we were told this was the same description used for other flats/properties and didn’t apply to this one. Would be good not to mislead guests - description should be changed. Parking itself is possible a short walk away for free so just indicate that instead.

+ Hidden away in the back streets of town so very quiet area. There was an allocated parking space which was great, I have a Ford Kuga which was about the maximum size vehicle for the space. The little cottage was beautiful with a lovely lounge / dinning area. The kitchen was well equipped, with microwave, oven and a fridge freezer. Upstairs the 2 bedrooms were a great size and each room had a floor standing fan which was very much needed as it reached over 40 degrees while we were there in August. It was cosy and a lovely place to stay. Location was great we were less than 10 minutes from the Zoo Parc du Beauval which is why we were in this location. We spent the following day exploring the lovely town of Saint Aignan which is full of history and beautiful buildings and lovely river. I would definitely stay here again and 100% recommend this lovely property.
