+ The public areas were rustic, charming. There was a swimming pool that was clean and well maintained. The area around the pool was neat and tidy. It was pleasant to sit at the tables in the garden/courtyard area in the shade of the trees. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The manager was helpful and accommodating even though not much English spoken. He allowed us to stay by the pool on our last day after checkout before heading to the airport. - The rooms had no aircon and we were in the 30’s so very hot and stuffy. Impossible to sleep. A fan was provided. They were closed during the day so no staff on site at all. + The pool was lovely and the pretty terrace was great for lunch.
− We came here to this hotel 35 years ago and it has changed hugely. The breakfast was awful. Basically rock hard petit pain and coffee. Yougurt. We expected a little bit more even from a two star hotel but despite this it was €100 per night. There wasn’t air con and in those small rooms in 38 degrees it was unbearable. Also they seemed to close the hotel for the Sunday so that there were no staff to ask for a bottle of water or a drink. We won’t be returning.
