+ Once inside the keys were all left in the doors, so I could choose my room. All were equally decorated and furnished to a good standard. I chose room 4, it was spacious and exceptionally clean. The heating was on and the entire building was very warm and cosy, I found the bed comfy and the shower nice and hot. I didn't use the kitchen, but if I was staying in the area for longer its a really nice facility to have meaning you dont have to keep eating out every night. Once inside the keys were all left in the doors, so I could choose my room. All were equally decorated and furnished ...
- When I arrived, the area looked a bit dubious so I made sure not to leave anything in my car! The property is facing a green, so you have to walk away from the road, along a pathway. It is lit, but not sure id feel safe as a lone woman until I got inside. Keybox to access is the opposite side to the light so I had to get my phone out to see the numbers. + Everything was very clean and new. Comfortable bed. Good tea and coffee supplies.
− The description did not make it clear that this is a house with several bedrooms all with a lock on the bedroom door, perhaps a woman travelling alone might feel a little uncomfortable. We arrived late at night and the parking area was full. The wifi network referenced on the instructions did not exist so we could not connect to wifi. And finally, I received an email after 9pm at night indicating which rooms we should occupy - my phone had run out of power by this time so I did not see the message - it would have been better to include this in the original check in instructions (or the reminder received on the morning of arrival). Luckily we happened to choose the right rooms but other guests arrived after we had gone to bed so that could have caused a distressing situation.

+ We were quite happy with our stay. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. If ever need to come back to Basildon “Luxurious ensuite rooms” will be the first place we’ll look for availability.
− Apart from trying to find the exact location because there was no door number given in the confirmation email and as it was dark when we got there. Also not knowing if the fridge in the kitchen was meant for everyone to use as it was full of stuff already and didn’t feel comfortable putting any of our stuff in there.
