- We did not expect perfection for the price we paid. Shabby chic without the chic is good for a night or two. We knew there was a lot of steps to get to the house. It tested me to the extreme - I'm 82 with damaged back and leg and arthritis. My two adult children were with me and were my sherpas. The downstairs bedroom was a saving grace. There was a slight sewage smell from the bathroom which required windows to be open to dispel it (fully). We did not expect perfection for the price we paid. − Early check out. I would like to have toilet on the upper rooms. If your main destination is Nice it’s quite far.
