+ We were the only two guests at the property and the hosts made us feel like royalty! So friendly and attentive. We paid to have the romantic dinner for two on our first evening. We thought we'd have to eat in the restaurant part of the hotel, but they made up our table on our balcony which was a lovely surprise. The food was cooked to order and extremely tasty! The dessert was homemade and delicious! We ate our meal overlooking the gorgeous view of the lake. We were asked what time we would like breakfast the following morning and we said that we wanted to watch the football which didn't kick off until 2am so could we have it at 11am and without any hesitation at all, they said yes that's no problem. The breakfast was a continental spread and presented beautifully. The host makes their own yogurt which was fantastic, I honestly could have eaten a litre of it! Then to top it off, homemade cakes! Not usually something we would eat for breakfast but we couldn't resist! The room itself was spacious enough, plenty of storage for clothes and the bed was very comfortable, we had a great sleep during our stay. Coffee maker with cups/ glasses. The bathroom, I've never seen one like it, very modern and quirky with every thing you need right down to cotton buds and a hair band! The property and the grounds were extremely clean and beautifully well kept. With the added bonus of a shared hot tub, although as we were the only guests we didn't have to share. We visited Arona and Stresa and caught a boat to the islands which was recommended by the host. We had such a great day taking in the sites.
