+ The Chateaux looks stunning from the outside. Our room was large and beautiful. Great location for a very good cafe in the village Le Bistrot where we had an excellent excellent breakfast every morning. Stephan the café owner could not have been more helpful.Adrien at the Chateaux showed us his classic car collection and when we asked fie wine glasses and more coffee capsules he was happy to provide. A great and quiet location near our friends too.
− We obviously mis read the description and thought we were able to use some of the rooms in the chateaux not just our bedroom. We hadn't expected a separate toilet,although private, was down a little corridor. A coffee table by the sofa would be good. Maybe charge a little more and offer petit dejeuner.

+ The property itself makes an excellent first impression and is visually very attractive. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing because the listing did not accurately reflect what was provided, and the host's attitude and written responses to queries, once we arrived were far from welcoming. "Beautiful buildings alone are not enough. A successful guest experience also depends on accurate descriptions, practical facilities and genuine hospitality. Unfortunately, these were lacking.
− There were several practical issues: • No iron or ironing board available. • No television as described. • After we requested tea and coffee-making facilities (as described) a coffee machine was brought to the room with just two coffee pods for two guests staying three nights. No kettle or additional refreshments were provided, and the machine had to be placed on the bathroom floor to reach the only suitable power socket. • The shared toilet had no hand basin, meaning guests had to leave the toilet and walk through a dark corridor before they could wash their hands. This is unhygienic, as you inevitably touch door handles and light switches with unwashed hands, and it is not what we would expect from guest accommodation. We also had to repeatedly request additional toilet paper during our stay • There was no lighting or night lights in the corridor, making visits to the toilet during the night difficult and potentially unsafe. • On returning to the property after dark, there was no exterior lighting to illuminate the entrance or steps. This made access difficult and created an unwelcoming first impression each evening. Simple exterior or solar lighting would greatly improve both guest safety and the overall sense of arrival. • The antique wardrobes were visually attractive but not practical for guests. They were dusty with cobwebs inside, and there was insufficient hanging space for full-length dresses, meaning formal clothing would become creased or hang against dusty surfaces. Combined with the lack of drawers, tables and chairs, the room was not practical for two guests staying three nights, particularly when attending a wedding. • The bedroom door could not be locked from the inside, which made us feel less secure overnight. • Not enough power sockets for items • No hand towels were provided, only a single face flannel. • The waste bin was far too small for two guests staying three nights If staying in hot weather there is no air-conditioning or fan supplied
