+ The chalet is so cute and cosy, it's very small but fine for a weekend (although I would beware it's definitely not for anyone of reduced mobility or elderly people, as the stairs are steep and upstairs is very tight to the bathroom). The hot tub was great, and it was so nice to spend the evening there watching the stars! The kitchen is practical, although quite small and no extraction fan, so it gets smoky quite quickly. It's fairly well equipped with things like coffee, sugar, salt and pepper provided. Although remember to bring things like oil! The utensils provided were quite random, for example there were around 4 or 5 champagne flutes, but just 1 mug. Anyway otherwise it was well equipped. - It's not very clean. The bedsheets were fresh, and the fridge was definitely clean, however I am sure that nobody hoovered. I swept the floor myself soon after arriving as it was not clean and it felt quite dirty. There is also a lot of dust upstairs. The velux window was really dirty too. It's not a big deal, however I found the dust a lot (visible dust on the night stands) which makes it obvious that it hasn't been properly cleaned in a long time. And the window being so dirty was a shame because we could maybe have seen the stars from bed, however it was just extremely dirty. It's not very clean. + Location at Montriond and view are great and it is convenient for driving. It does have a well equipped kitchenette. The hot tub is shared but on our visit clean and has a nice view. Mattress is fine, and bed sheets comfortable and clean. Good stay for a few nights and if youre out and about.
− Wasn't quite as well presented as in the listing. Kitchen tap broken (appears to have been raised in previous review). Perhaps hadn't been used in a while as there was a musty smell, cobwebs and the entrance overgrown. It was generally as listed otherwise by descrption, but tired, in hindsight this is a very small footprint, 4x5m (approx) with sloping roof over the bath/shower meaning a stoop for a 6ft person.
