- We didn't receive any instructions, we had to wait for 1 hour to know the number of the caravane. There was no heat, the heater didn't work so no hot water either, it was very cold inside. - Should not be rented out in winter months.. waterlogged very muddy. Frozenpipes on first day. Very basic amenities.. no toiletries no towels no cleaner each week as promised (25 day visit) Boiler ceased working but managed to resolve via us Google. No welcome pack with any information of park or caravan appliances. ( electric or gas certificate) Internet did not work for streaming TV. Had to use own data. Bought showerdoor strip as none on door so water escaped into bathroom. Bought door mat as extremely muddy outside van. Bought cutlery as poor quality seems nicked from the local pub. Advertised facilities very exaggerated and misleading. Contact with owner non existent reference boiler issue stated waiting for an engineer to check boiler... never appeared. No decking so can't sit out. Should not be rented out in winter months.. waterlogged very muddy. Frozenpipes on first day. Very basic amenities.. ...

+ It was clean. Bedding not so much
− Smelt like someone had been smoking in there, musty awful smell. Bed linen seemed clean but stained. Didn’t get check in details until 3 hours before check in

− We had no gas for the first two and half days, no heating as it wouldn’t work and no hot water would only go warm. Host took up to two days to reply about the issues and still had no resolution to half the problems, didn’t seem like they even cared. Will not be staying here again!

+ The location was great and the actual campsite
− The caravan wasn’t clean at all when we first got there I thought aw it’s really nice and cosy like homely, we was visiting family so only went in quick to drop bags off so didn’t have a good look around, then we realised the bedding hadn’t been cleaned at all absolutely stunk which is digusting, luckily we had family stay that lend us linen so we changed them, but shouldn’t have to do that, just wasn’t the cleanest caravans either, if that was all sorted and they made more effort it could be nice because it is cozy. The actual campsite is really good, quite lively especially in evening so would return again as I have family close by but would never book here again, can’t stay in someone else’s smelly bedding, every single bed was the same to so 100% wasn’t cleaned, was very noisy because of the cars on the main road, also whoever owns this caravan isn’t good at all with communication, I was actually worried it was a scam, was only when I phoned booking.com which they then they messaged them to say to message with details they then replied finally and said check in from 3pm details sent on day, I phoned lots of times left voicemails and send emails beforehand, could of just messaged that at the beginning, then we asked how you work heating surprise no reply, told them about bedding no reply again or even a sorry we’ll sort it ect, I just think if your running a business by renting out your caravan then you need to have communication and definitely need to make sure beddings being cleaned. I want to also state I had my two young kids with me so when your not getting replies and travelling along way it’s abit worrying incase your turning up to not have no where to stay, and not to tell me how to work heating when it’s dropped temperatures through the night with kids is wrong.
