+ The place is spotless and there were supplies of milk, jam, coffee and tea etc. The proximity to the airport is a big advantage. Having a washing machine and tumble drier is excellent for travellers as well as a fold down ironing board, iron and hair dryer. The bed is huge and comfortable. There is air con which was great during the recent heat wave and very unusual to find in the UK. The TV has access to many channels and BBC iPlayer. The entry area has a space to leave shoes out of the living space which I think is a plus. There are several mirrors which is also a plus. - The space downstairs is made up of 2 rooms, bathroom and the combined kitchen and living space. Downstairs, space is tight especially in the bathroom. I am small, travelling on my own, but I would have struggled if I had to share the place with another person. There is a large TV downstairs which ends up being quite close to the head of anyone watching it. There is a fairly big table for the size of the room and 4 kitchen chairs ( I cannot imagine 4 people in this space ) Therefore you sit on a kitchen/dining type chair to watch the TV. The wooden stairs up to the bedroom could be hard to manage safely for a less ambulant person or a child. There is a space to park a car but the gates swing back such that the car could be scraped. The host does warn you of this. Providing a block to hold back the gate would solve this. The space downstairs is made up of 2 rooms, bathroom and the combined kitchen and living space. + The flat was very clean and modern, it was also very well stocked with milk, sugar, tea, coffee, cereals etc. The hosts were lovely and you are made to feel very welcome.
