- The house could have been cleaner; floors and shelves were quire dusty. Poor quality bed linen (not cotton) Difficult to cook for a group in the kitchen; hob had only 3 rings and only 2 saucepans available (one small, one medium). The kitchen is not as spacious as it appears in pictures; FOUR of the cupboards are permananently locked. As other people mentioned, 10am is a very early check out! The biggest issue for me was the noise - some from neighbours, some from the street outside the bedroom window. But mainly from groups of young people congregating on the beach late at night at the weekends. It was pretty quiet on week days. + Good location, right by a lovely beach, and the view from the window is amazing. Visiting in the off-season made parking easy to find. It’s a short drive to many beautiful tourist spots around Málaga, making it a good base for exploring. The apartment is small but feels cosy. - The furniture and furnishings feel very cheap, making the apartment seem much lower quality than expected. Cleanliness was disappointing — the shower was dirty and mouldy, the cleaning overall seemed superficial, and the floors were extremely dirty — definitely don’t walk around in white socks. We stayed for a week and were given only one kitchen towel, one kitchen roll, and one rubbish bag per bin type, which was not enough. We had to buy supplies ourselves, even though there are strict rubbish rules displayed everywhere. I contacted the host on WhatsApp about this and received no reply. After that, we didn’t feel comfortable asking for anything else and just hoped we wouldn’t have any problems, as support clearly wasn’t there. The windows are very poor quality — even when closed, wind and street noise came through. We were constantly disturbed by people talking, scooters, rubbish collection, and even loud street works at 8am one morning. Noisy neighbours in the corridor at 1–2am made it worse. I didn’t have a single full night of proper sleep. The bed linen and pillows were very low quality and uncomfortable (cheap polyester, too hot and sweaty). The kitchen has two microwaves but no oven, which is inconvenient if you need to cook at home, especially on rainy days.
