+ I wish I could give more stars for this amazing and very special small hotel located in the center of Saint Emilion wine country in Lussac which is a short 15 minute drive to the old town of St. Emilion and minutes from just about every vineyard you could ever want to enjoy. Upon arrival we were so pleasantly greeted by Owners, Natalie and her husband Chef David to their beautifully restored property. They meticulously have renovated each and every space of the property to be a peaceful retreat and comfortable place to enjoy this incredible area from. It is special in every way. The back yard and terraced patios welcome you to relax and take in the history of the 19th century pavilion and the next door view of the Chateau Du Lussac. You can feel the passion they have for hospitality and David is a very talented chef who created the most beautiful dining experience for us and the other guests that were staying at the Pavilion. We became fast friends in this experience with them and they were incredible at offering options for us to explore while in the area which was so helpful. Although there is not much going on in Lussac itself, there is a beautiful 14th Century church and some of the best wines in the world to discover just minutes out the door. If you need anything, Libourne is about 15 minutes away for all of the essentials if you need. It is wonderful to be in a place that feels local and not touristy at the end of the day, while still being close to all there is to see and do. The bed was so comfortable, the entire property was impeccably clean, and we were able to book a massage from a local massage therapist who came to the property! I cannot recommend the Pavillion des Millesimes enough and when we return, (which we most certainly will do), we will be staying here again. It was a perfect place to end our 2 week journey though Italy, Spain, and France. Heartfelt thank you to Natalie and David for welcoming us so graciously. I can't wait to come back. + A fabulous homely place to stay. The hosts are fabulous, friendly, and helpful. You would never guess what is behind the door until you enter. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend a stay here. Love that the pets are part of the family welcome party
