+ On the Camino, one cannot always expect top-notch accommodations. The non-negotiables for me as a pilgrim are comfort, location, and a quiet environment. Meson Paz checks out all of these. The owner was solicitous and my dinner was excellent. It is 1.2 km from the inicio in Pontedeume and about 500 m. from a starting point for the second day of the Camino Inglés. This is the down side because you won't have the strength to climb down to town and back up again for dinner or shopping for supplies, so if you have business to do in town, do it before going to your hotel.
− I can't think of anything to write in this part.

+ Excellent on site restaurant. Not too far from the Camino Ingles. We were able to get breakfast as well as a packed lunch to take with us.
− Location is fine for the Camino Ingles but it is up a very steep hill but a bit isolated. The restaurant made up for that, though.

+ Location on top of steep climb meant a relatively easy start on next day's camino. Great dinner in the attached restaurant.
