+ The property has been modernised to a very high standard and facilities include an excellent bathroom (bath + shower) and a kitchen equipped for cooking, washing etc. You could certainly self-cater with ease. Very comfortable lounge with TV and large bedroom for a couple (also with a TV). Pippin Cottage is a short drive from Ripon - a nice city - and with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales. Getting to the cottage from other parts of the country is easily accessible from the A1 (M). Parking right outside - you will need a car to get there - and very good Wifi helpful as limited mobile phone signal). Joining info including keybox code and location details are emailed just before you arrive. Unfortunately my email stopped working so had some problems. Pippin Cottage is NOT on the High Street in Wath. it is at the end of a driveway alongside Ivy Cottage (next to George pub). Go right to end and look for Russett Barn on the gate. + Everything really. Jo and James were welcoming and very helpful, if we asked for anything or any information they were right there. It was early March and chilly outside but Pippin Cottage was warm and comfortable. We loved it.

+ Everything! Lovely and cosy, simple and affective heating system, great facilities, great location, and the best, biggest shower I've ever used in all the places I've stayed. Nice quiet village with a good, friendly pub if you need to getaway, but also not too far from the A1. Nice towns nearby, and quiet local roads if you like to go out running. A perfect week away.

+ Pippin Cottage was exceptionally comfortable. Everything felt and looked luxurious, and was absolutely spotless throughout. Good parking just outside, together with nice small garden area. I'd love to stay again.
