+ Maurizio is an exceptional host of the highest standards – always available for any questions, advice, or assistance whenever needed. We had a truly wonderful stay at the apartment in August. The apartment is located in the heart of the green Tuscan countryside, with breathtaking and relaxing views. It is clean, well-organized, and situated on the first floor with a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a barbecue area, which Maurizio kindly helped me set up, even providing charcoal and fire starters. The apartment comes with a lovely, well-maintained pool, complete with sunbeds and stunning views. Maurizio even assisted us with inflating our floats and using the pool equipment we brought along. + Podere Colombaio besticht durch seine Lage, die schöne Aussicht und den Pool. Das ist aber auch schon alles, was uns gefallen hat, denn wir hatten leider keinen erholsamen Aufenthalt in diesem Agriturismo: Bei einem Preis von 250 Euro pro Nacht haben wir uns einen schönen Urlaub erhofft. Leider wurden hier ganz grundlegende Anforderungen nicht erfüllt und wir hätten uns auch die Google-Bewertungen besser durchlesen sollen. Wir sind letztendlich frühzeitig abgereist und haben die letzten vier Nächte unseres Urlaubs in einer anderen Unterkunft verbracht. Wir fahren seit 9 Jahren nach Italien und haben diese Erfahrungen noch nie gemacht. Nachdem wir 2 Nächte mit einer Maus im Schlafzimmer verbracht haben und es anschließend noch reingeregnet hat, haben wir uns unwohl gefühlt und wollten früher abreisen. Der Vermieter unterstellte uns, dass wir die Fenster während des Gewitters offen gelassen hätten und wir nun aufgrund des schlechten Wetters abreisen wollen. Dies war unverschämt, da wir alle Mängel dokumentiert hatten und nicht früher nach Hause fahren wollten. Wir wollten die restlichen Urlaubstage jedoch nicht in dieser Unterkunft verbringen und haben uns für diese Nächte eine andere Unterkunft in der Umgebung gebucht. Die ganze Reklamationsabwicklung war weder lösungsorientiert noch kundenfreundlich. Der Vermieter hat sich geweigert, uns bezüglich der vorzeitigen Abreise entgegenzukommen und ist der Auffassung, eine adäquate Unterkunft zur Verfügung gestellt zu haben. Das ist mindestens aufgrund des Schädlingsbefalls nicht der Fall! Wir haben uns anschließend mit Booking in Verbindung gesetzt und auch hier zeigte er sich uneinsichtig. Von Booking bekamen wir eine Gutschrift und die Unterkunft hatte anschließend neue 5-Sterne Bewertungen, in der alle Punkte unserer Reklamation als äußerst positiv hervorgehoben wurden…
− Zustand: Die Wohnung ist sehr dunkel und einige Schranktüren schlossen nicht mehr. 
Die Fliegengitter sind löchrig, sodass wir ungebetene Gäste (Spinnen, Stinkwanzen) hatten. Wir wussten, dass wir in der Natur wohnen und ungebetene Gäste haben könnten. Aber selbst die Eingangstür hatte ein faustgroßes Loch. Trotz geschlossener Fenster regnete es bei Gewitter rein, sodass wir wischen mussten. Der Vermieter hatte kein Interesse die Situation zu begutachten, obwohl er im gleichen Haus wohnt. Sauberkeit: Die Unterkunft war nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Die Schwämme in der Küche waren benutzt, der Kaffeeautomat benötigte eine Entkalkung vor der ersten Nutzung und in der Spülmaschine fanden wir Nudeln. Wir haben die Spülmaschine gereinigt und eigene Schwämme benutzt. Ungeziefer: Eines Nachts wurden wir von Nagegeräuschen wach. Am Morgen informierten wir den Vermieter, dass wie eine Maus im Schlafzimmerschrank haben. Statt Entschuldigung und Begutachtung bekamen wir lediglich eine Mausefalle, die er unter den Schank stellte. Wir haben dann selbst im Schrank nachgesehen und fanden Mäusekot. Wir konnten zwei Nächte nicht schlafen, da wir die Maus in unserem Schlafzimmer hörten. Außenbereich: Ein Sonnenschirm konnte wegen eines Bienen-/Wespennestes nicht genutzt werden. Den Poolroboter mussten wir jeden Mittag selbst aus dem Wasser holen. Nachdem wir unsere Bikinis auf einer selbstmitgebrachten Wäscheleine auf der Terrasse trockneten wurden wir aufgefordert, die bereitstehenden Wäscheständer hinter dem Waschhaus zu nutzen. Diese waren jedoch recht schmutzig, da sie teilweise schon länger auf dem Boden lagen. Zudem wurden die Bikinis dort bis zum nächsten Morgen nicht trocken.
