About this property
Situated opposite Ely Cathedral, the Poets House boasts a destination restaurant and a bar, along with free Wi-Fi. This boutique hotel is located in the heart of the historic city of Ely.
The individually styled and air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen smart TV and an en suite bathroom with a copper bath with a rainfall shower.
In the mornings, the Poets House serves traditional English breakfast. The extensive breakfast menu also offers lighter and continental options. The Dining Room boasts several menus and the hotel’s relaxed bar serves a wide selection of platters. Dishes are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce.
Dating back to 1215, Oliver Cromwell’s House is adjacent to the hotel. The Poets House offers private parking with a complimentary valet service. The university city of Cambridge is just 13 miles away.
