About this property

Located 1 hours’ drive from Barcelona, this Wild West-themed hotel offers free unlimited access to PortAventura Theme Park (throughout the stay including day of arrival and departure) and 1 day access to Ferrari Land per person and stay (subject to the park opening dates calendar).

The hotel features 3 river-style swimming pools, as well as evening and daytime entertainment. The Gold River’s Grand Hall Restaurant serves a range of buffet cuisine, whilst the New Texas and Opera House Restaurants offers à la carte options. There are also 2 bars and a snack bar on site.

Beds are covered with colorful patchwork quilts and there are antique-style furnishings, as well as satellite TV. The rooms are set in different themed parts of the hotel, including a Victorian mansion, City Hall and a typical Wild West main street scene.

All customers have special discounts on PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park tickets and on express products.

PortAventura World can be easily accessed from the AP7 Motorway. Barcelona is situated north of the complex and can be reached by train in 1 hour. A bus goes from Camp de Tarragona AVE Train Station to Barcelona and Reus Airports.

+ Beautiful hotel with an incredibly immersive Wild West atmosphere. The location is perfect, with direct access to PortAventura Park, which makes everything extremely convenient. The staff were exceptional, the room was beautiful, comfortable and very well themed, and the breakfast was excellent. - The hotel was surprisingly difficult to find when arriving on foot, as the signs weren't very clear and we eventually had to walk through a parking area to reach it. Also, although the included breakfast was excellent, breakfast times have to be booked in advance. As we booked quite late, the only available slot was at 8:00 am. Each slot is only 30 minutes long before the next group comes in, which made breakfast feel a little rushed. I would have preferred to enjoy such a good breakfast more leisurely. + The main advantage of this hotel is undoubtedly its location. It is simply perfect – vibrant, picturesque, and set within a beautiful park that creates a unique atmosphere and defines the entire experience. I also really liked the overall concept and design of the hotel. The whole hotel complex is decorated in an interesting and distinctive style, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The food exceeded my expectations. Both breakfast and lunch/dinner offered a huge variety of dishes, and everything was exceptionally tasty. The quality, freshness, and selection of food were outstanding. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would be happy to return.
− The only downside was the queues for breakfast and dinner. Even though reservations are required in advance, there can still be a waiting line at the entrance. However, this did not spoil the overall dining experience. The rooms themselves are somewhat dated, and the interior could benefit from renovation. That said, the design fits well with the theme and atmosphere of the park, so it never felt out of place.
