+ The staff make this place. Brilliant, all of them. It feels very homely and the food was lovely. We had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was included & cooked with a choice of foods which you ordered the night before. Our dog was made to feel super welcome too and some great dog walks on the doorstep. (We just had to pay an additional £10 when we arrived to cover the extra cleaning.) Our room had everything we needed with a huge comfy superkingsize bed in it. There's a church directly opposite with Bells but we were in room 4 at the back so weren't disturbed by them. If you're a light sleeper maybe request this room.
− Not much really. They have an outdoor covered area/shelter with big cushioned seats and customers had left a lot of cigarette buts all around this area in plant tubs and on the floor. Obviously getting used as a smoking hut. Which made it feel scruffy when you can see it can be a nice & cozy place to chill in. Shame it's been abused like this.
