- I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. There was absolutely no hospitality provided at this BnB and the hosts were rude and disrespectful! This was the one exception to the great hospitality we received everywhere in Italy during our 6 week journey . We were not greeted by a civil “ hello or welcome “… just words “BnB ? ( “meaning “are you here for BnB “ ) …” Documentation “ meaning I need your Passport and Credit Card and “you must be out by 10:00 “ which was written on their iPhone Translator App and placed in front of my face. ( it was advertised as 1:00 .) I had to ask her if she was the owner before I gave my credit card and passport because she had not even introduced herself. Her partner arrived and when I expressed my dissatisfaction about the lack of a common, standard welcome , I was told arrogantly by him that “this is Italy not America” . I responded : “This is clearly Not Italy …you are the one exception to the great kindness of the Italian people we met in your Country”. They then tried to justify their inappropriate behavior by saying they didn’t speak English however they could readily use their iPhone Translator App to tell me what they needed. I told them I spoke a few words in Italian (if they had cared to ask me) and I then asked to use his iPhone Translator App to express what I wanted them to understand about my basic dissatisfaction with their inability to extend a common welcome to us . He refused and abruptly walked away. There are many other BnBs in this area . Choose another. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
