+ Ridge And Furrow Lodge is a little gem in the beautiful Somerset countryside, perfectly located for exploring the surrounding picturesque villages. The lodge is exceptionally modern, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable self-catering stay. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is lovely, and everything feels fresh and new. What makes it truly special is the setting. With a farm and cows grazing right next door, uninterrupted countryside views, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, plenty of birds and even the occasional rabbit, it's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the fresh country air. Martin is a fantastic, welcoming host, making the whole experience even better. We had a wonderful family stay and would happily return. Highly recommended! + Lovely, clean and well equipped lodge with a comfortable bed and thick towels. Excellent shower and bath with all the hot water you could wish for. Very peaceful location and enjoyed sitting with the door open, watching the cows, rabbits and birds in the fields and garden. This was our second visit, and we find it a great base to use for exploring the many National Trust properties nearby, plus it’s ideally situated for all major routes for exploring further afield.
− The oven seemed to take ages to heat up, but as we only used it once, it wasn’t an issue. We usually recycle where possible, but there wasn’t any obvious provision for this other than food waste. Perhaps some lidded crates could be placed in the porch area?
