Roker Hotel is one of longest standing and most loved hotels in Sunderland. A calming seaside exterior but inside the Roker Hotel, Sunderland, awaits a haven of contemporary unique decor with a tempting choice of food and drink finished off with personable service.
As well as our 43 en-suite bedrooms and 2 function venues for events for up to 350 people, we house two vibrant and bustling eating and drinking establishments, open to both residents and non-residents. Under the one roof we have 1842 café & bistro and Poetic License bar.

Please note some of our rooms may be subject to noise from our bustling gin and cocktail bar located onsite, which is open until 01:00. If you would like to request a quieter room, please ask our reception team when booking.

The fine print
• Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
• Bar is closed from Tue 31 Dec 2024 until Tue 31 Dec 2024
• A damage deposit of £50 is required on arrival. That's about $67. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
