Royal Whitby
About this property
Overlooking Whitby Harbour, Royal Whitby is situated opposite the famous Whalebone Arch in the West Cliff area of Whitby. With breath-taking views of the ruined Gothic Whitby Abbey, the property offers a bar, free wi-fi and a restaurant.
The rooms include a flat screen TV, an en suite with a bath and/or a shower, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a wardrobe.
Guests at the popular Royal Whitby can enjoy drinks and meals in the bar and restaurant, which both overlook the ocean and the ballroom is host to a great variety of local entertainment too.
Royal Whitby is just 10 minutes’ walk from local shops and Whitby Railway Station. Whitby is a seaside town that features historic cobbled streets, picturesque houses, and a sandy Blue Flag beach.
The hotel is dog friendly. Please note that there is a charge of £20 per dog, per day.
Car parking is available at a charge of £8 per night however spaces are limited and reservations in advance are recommended. Please call the 01947 602234 (option 2) to book a space.
As part of our ongoing refurbishment programme, scaffolding is currently in place on one side of the building. This may partially obstruct the view from some bedroom windows, and while we are working to keep any disruption to a minimum, we want to make you aware of this in advance of your stay.
