+ Breakfast was nice. Breakfast was nice.
- The owner was aggressive and rude. We were delayed due to late arrival of our flight to Nice and related issues with car rental, and when we informed her that we would arrive late she unleashed a tirade in French of how poor our behaviour was, how it is unacceptable, etc… she followed this up with an sms that told is she would cancel our reservation (leaving us at 10pm with no idea where else to go and very limited options) within 1 hour if we were not at the property by then. The room was dirty - dirty floors, dirty curtains, shaving whiskers on the sink from previous guests, and two giant spider webs - complete with two giant spiders - above the bed. When we told the owner about this the next morning she told is that we must be from the city and that in the countryside it is “normal”. We requested a refund and checked out (foregoing our next 3 nights at the location). I had requested a refund when speaking with the owner. None was forthcoming. No replies to our several messages to the owner. We will not be back. And recommend strongly that if you are considering staying here that you find somewhere else. You can try Les Roches de Baudisset - a totally different league in terms of facility and hosts - and for about the same price. The owner was aggressive and rude.
