+ At a pinch, for one night, we coped. At a pinch, for one night, we coped.
- Not a great stay! It was generally unclear how to access the property and we had to call the host to find out the code to access the keys. A resident from down the hall ended up letting us into the building. Once in the flat, it was unclear which room was ours as there are no numbers/ labels on the doors. We had another resident enter our room accidentally during our stay while we were sleeping. There was no lock on the bedroom door and, as 2 young females, we did not feel safe. We did not know who else was in the flat and were unable to feel secure our belongings. As others have commented, the wardrobe was out of use and the room was very basic. There were no towels provided, including no hand towel in the bathroom. We generally feel quite easily pleased with a simple bedroom for the night but this was far worse than expected and we were quick to exit the property as soon as we could. A simple lock on the door, towels and clear instructions to access the room would go a very long way. Not a great stay! + The bathroom shower was great, comfortable and could reach decent temperatures easily. There wasn’t any mould so this has been addressed from other reviews. The bed was comfy though the drawers had some leftover random junk and there was only one part of the wardrobe available to use. When the host did eventually get back to me they were polite and helpful.
− Communication with the host wasn’t great; I felt I had to chase for clarity on some things and which room was mine was not clear on entry. Someone else was staying at the property in the other room, which wasn’t a problem, but this was also not communicated to me. The property is clearly in the middle of renovations so was a bit messy and the bulk of the wardrobe also off limits, but all the facilities were fine.
