+ The cabin was beautiful, very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The TV set up was perfect and the seating area vey comfortable. Home away from home, a overall perfect cabin stay. A 4 minute walk to the on-site pub/restaurant. The hot tub was set up on arrival and was cleaned daily (early morning) no disruptions. This cabin is by far the best cabin we have stayed in. The host John and his some was lovely and met us on arrival. There were a few questions on the first day, mainly the power of water especially on a Monday and a Friday (due to the park-site) not to do with the actual cabin. John was very communicative and eased my concern by contacting the park owners who informed us that it would rectify later on which it did. The water power was excellent, lovely hot showers (one in the main room and one general shower and bath room (lovely and spacious). Leading out to the hot tub. I will definitely return to this cabin as is was truly amazing. Highly recommended!
− Maintenance of the grounds good have been a little better. There were butt ends laying around the decking area in the garden. Looking a little tired and a little TLC would really boost the overall stay. The owner did mention the wasp nest in the outhouse (shed) in the woodland part of the garden further away from the cabin. They were looking into having the nest removed. It was not an issue as we were mainly in the cabin, garden and hot tub. This is constructive criticism.

+ This beautiful log cabin had everything you needed. John the owner was exceptionally nice and he welcomed us on arrival and showed us around. We visited different towns over the 5 days and it was so nice . Huge enclosed garden and woodland area so it was great for dogs . I would definitely return to this beautiful lodge and have recommended to others to visit. You will have a lovely relaxed time away .Also the Crazy Horse Pub was lovely and food was spot on pizza was so nice .
− I looked at the lodge and fell in love and it said Hot tub so i paid in full straight away through Sykes holiday Cottages on booking.com . Whoever does the add on B.com You MUST add a * next to hot tub as it's NOT included in the price stated. You have to pay an extra £80 to use it. We eventually found the small print after a message from Sykes to say the bill was outstanding . This was upsetting because I had no clue Hot Tub wasn't included. I'm sure between Sykes and Booking.com you could make this more visible to us. Iv never had to pay extra it's always been included in the price shown *This review is not reflected on the lodge that was exceptional and we loved it and will return.
