+ The room is very clean and nice, received some soap and body wash, they have towels as well. Location is very good and safe. There are some pubs/restaurants around that were very lively on Saturday night (not close enough to hear from room) and there is a shopping centre with a supermarket on the other side of the road! About a 1.2km walk (20mins max) to the station and we got the cercanias trains into central Madrid, which takes about 7mins to Principe Pio station (we bought the tourist pass and was great). Great price compared to more central accommodations that were more expensive. The room is very clean and nice, received some soap and body wash, they have towels as well. Location is very good an...
- We didn’t receive any information on how to enter the property for check in - we arrived at 23:00 (which property said was ok) and when I called the man made some muffled sounds and then hung up! We thought it was a scam but luckily it was just his first day on the job and his first check in! The room itself was nice but we didn’t receive any information on when to check out, times the pool/gym is open, how to open the front gate, if there is wifi. Just got given our key and good night. There wasn’t a kettle/pan anything apart from a plate, wide bowl and small glass in the kitchen, so we went back to reception to ask for a kettle and got a pan, but that was ok to heat some water for tea/coffee. He didn’t know if there was wifi (he thought it would all be written in the room…) so we said we’ll come back in the morning. The guy in the morning was very helpful and told us when to check out (12:00) and pool opening times (11:00-15:00 and 16:00-20:00) and showed us where the gym is, and gave us the WiFi password! I know it’s student accommodation, but for the hotel rooms there could be a kettle, pan, mugs, sponge and dish soap to clean with. Just a bit more than plate, bowl and glass so you can actually use the kitchen and make a cup of coffee. I’m not sure if other rooms have this and we were just unlucky or if all rooms are like this. + Clean well laid out rooms. Swimming pool is great, handy supermarket across road and bar round the corner.
− Quite a bit out Madrid but price reflects that

+ I like that it is a 24-hour service and check in was quick, was the fastest i have ever done in any place in the world. Vending machines with food if you need a snack after hours. The is a very good mall, crossing the street with very good restaurants and anything you might need if you travel light. Bus stop is at 2-3 minute walk and it takes about 35 minutes to get you to downtown.
− Bathrooms do not have air extraction or it did not work. The outside areas are very dark; it is a very safe location but more sensors in the outside for automatic lighting would be very nice to see in the future.
