+ I needed an inexpensive place to stay a couple of nights for an unexpected trip to Perpignan. It was very clean, well appointed (fridge, microwave, electric stovetop, kettle, coffee machine etc). There are plenty of crockery and utensils, of good quality. It is very nicely presented, with small touches including tourist information & maps etc. There is a fan and heater. I found the room was comfortable despite the heat outside. The support of the host was exceptional, they kept in contact and helped resolve any questions I had. Very clear communication. The location is not central to the tourist area however it is not far to walk. If you arrive / depart by train there is a bus from and to the Gare TGV / train station (bus C), which runs about every 20minutes and is a short walk up past the university (near the Aldi supermarket). The location is very convenient to the university. Also in walking distance of several restaurants including O’Broadway (which I ate at and strongly recommend), La Pause and o’Tacos (open about 7pm). I found the sofa bed comfortable but I think it’s worth emphasizing that it is a sofa bed and really who has ever slept in a truly comfortable sofa bed? The pillows were generous and the linen was clean. Also worth mentioning it is up two flights of stairs. I think this property will improve in time (for example it didn’t have the WiFi code written down when I arrived and now it does. Just provide useful feedback.
