- AVOID !!!!!!The property was COMPLETELY misrepresented in it's description. we chose it becuase it offered a private pool. When we arived there was no private pool only access to a pool that belonged to the main house that was in a state of total disrepair. It was completely covered in Algae and the area was littlered with old broken, discarded furniture and toys. There was nobody there to discuss any of this with. It was also listed as having a hot tub. This was not private and was covered near the pool, in what looked like a similar state. The room was ok although unclean in places, eg the fridge stunk of garlic and had obviously not been cleaned. The shower, when used created a huge puddle which seeped onto the wood floor. We used all towels to mop this up. the so called private outdoor area was tiny with no tables or chairs only a double sun bed. i contacted the host and said that we would stay one night (it is in the countryside and by the time we checked in to discover all this we were unable to go elsewhere) but given the poor unreflective description would like a refund for 3 out of the 4 days booked. The host replied and apologised saying it was the wrong information given . said he would refund 3 days then completely ghosted us. After phone calls, messages and emails I contacted Booking.com customer services who were equally as usless saying that they had to get confirmation from the host in order to refund, even though they could see the reponse with the admission of it being misrepresented in the description. Booking.com assured me they would keep trying the host. I've heard nothing for over 2 weeks.
