- Getting into the property was a BIG PROBLEM. Mohamad messaged me the code to use to release the key in the key box. But I tried over and over again to make it work but it didn't. A young French chap was watching me struggle and offered to help. He got the thing to work and I got the key and reset the code to 0000 as Mohamad requested. But the next morning ie. today, I couldn't operate the key box and not knowing what to do, I messaged Mohamad. But after a while with no response I set off to continue my travels. I put the keys in the locked letter box and messaged Mohamad I had done this. My concern is about the young man who helped me. He said he encountered several other people who'd had a problem with the key box. He seemed honest, but there's the risk he could memorise the code. I strongly suggest Mohamad changes the code. Perhaps he automatically does this and doesn't just use the same code over and over again. This is the first problem I've had with Booking.com properties. It was very vexing as all I wanted to do after a long cycle ride over the past 2 days from St Malo was to get to the property and have a shower. I've been messaging Mohamad back and forth about the key box and hope that I haven't inadvertently caused him a security problem. Just to say I don't have a key box device at home and haven't come across one before. So I'm not experienced in how they should work. Getting into the property was a BIG PROBLEM.
