+ This is a beautiful location, whilst the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is still entirely private. It is very well laid out, stunning view, furnishings are all very high quality. A really well thought through suite. The hosts are absolutely lovely and incredibly accomodating. There are lots of thoughtful additions to the suite, with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. One of the best places we've stayed through booking.com! The hosts gave us excellent recommendations for food locally, and a bonus is they have a lovely dog! A very very enjoyable stay. + A lovely, recently refurbished annex giving a clear view over the valley, meeting our expectations of being isolated in the country, away from amenities. As confident country walkers, we were happy to leave the car behind and walk down the hill to local pubs for dinner. The proprietors were wonderful and gave us good advice about footpaths and pubs. A very comfortable bed. On the morning of leaving we checked the brand of mattress and discovered it was an electric adjustable bed. If only we had known sooner!
− Knowing that breakfast was not provided we took breakfast basics. We thought it was self catering accommodation.The proprietors' description that "meals can be prepared in the well fitted kitchenette" beyond scrambled egg might a bit ambitious. We had no intention of cooking so it was not a problem, just a surprise.
