+ We spent 14 days at Sunscape Dominicus La Romana as a family of ten (including 4 kids), and overall we had a great holiday. The family room we stayed in was clean and nice, although the rooms in general would benefit from renovation and more storage space. Some of our family members also struggled with high humidity in their rooms. The resort area is beautiful, full of tropical plants, and feels very cozy. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés, and à la carte restaurants can be visited without limits, though some require reservations. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide selection, and because it’s served in two beachfront restaurants, it almost never felt overcrowded. The main buffet offered very good and varied food compared to other hotels we’ve visited—shrimp daily, fish most days, and even lobster occasionally. Drinks were tasty and of good quality, although toward the end of our stay some options seemed to run out and were sometimes not restocked. The beaches are beautiful and mostly clean, with easy access to the water in most places, though some areas have a rockier bottom. We sometimes used the beach at the neighboring Dreams resort, where you can see plenty of fish even without snorkeling, and also enjoyed the beach on the far left side of Sunscape. The kids loved the pool and the aquapark area. We also tried one of the excursions offered by the hotel and really enjoyed it. Service was mixed—some staff were very friendly and helpful, others less so. The animation team was fantastic, and the evening entertainment was lively and enjoyable. Considering the price, the value for money was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay!
− - Rooms would benefit from renovation and offer limited storage space. - Some rooms had issues with high humidity and mold (being addressed by the resort)

+ All inclusive resteraunts was fresh and with a wide variety. Fresh grilled meat, fish and freshly squuezed juices were available. Thanksgiving day decorations were amazing and food was really good too (had big shrimps, and ceviche too). There is coffee shop on premises (separate) where we always went in the morning for Barista style coffe (latte or expresso) with some nice deserts as well. Good size swimming pools in the middle and one with slides too. The Resteraunts (Mexican and Fusion ) were really good and come with nice wines and Margaritas. Minibar was stoked on arrival with beers, water and soft drinks. the Real president beer was good and water is stocked daily while beer is not. Night shows were entertaining including the music shows. Overall great experience
− Beach in front hotel has rocks that can cut your feet so water shoes are a must. A lot of small and but intense mosquitoes around but this is not the property's fault. All inlcusive includes liquor but the local liquor is cheap and just distilled alcohol. .also the "free" beer is really watered down and foamy...
