- The apartment is spacious and the location is convenient, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the handling of the security deposit. After check-out, €50 was deducted for “additional cleaning.” We were never clearly informed of the specific cleaning requirements during booking or check-in, and when we asked for evidence, no photos, cleaning report, or invoice has ever been provided. The host claimed that two cleaners spent an additional two hours cleaning the apartment. However, this does not reflect the condition in which we left it. We were not provided with enough rubbish bags for a group of seven people, so after using all the bags available, we carefully sorted and grouped the remaining recyclable plastic bottles together in one area. We also loaded and completed a full dishwasher cycle before leaving. Only a small number of dishes remained because the dishwasher was already full. Given the condition in which we left the apartment, we simply cannot understand how these items could reasonably require two cleaners to spend an extra two hours cleaning. There were also inconsistencies in the amount deducted, as we were initially told €60 had been withheld and were later told the deduction was €50. This lack of transparency made the situation even more frustrating. Another disappointing experience involved the swimming pool wristbands. During check-in, the host who assisted us specifically instructed us not to wear the wristbands, warning that if they were damaged we would be charged €50 for each one. However, when we followed those instructions, we were repeatedly approached by another resident who insisted that only our group wear the wristbands, despite many other people using the facilities without wearing them. As an Asian family, this made us feel unfairly singled out and extremely uncomfortable. The apartment is spacious and the location is convenient, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing....
