Nestled among rolling farmland and hills, this historic building has been brought to life through the thoughtful, creative designs and collections of Curzio and Rya. Stepping inside felt like taking a deep breath. The gentle scent of lavender fills the air, inviting you to slow down, settle in, and fully unwind. Curzio and Rya are warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful hosts. Their recommendations were spot-on, reflecting their deep knowledge of the land and all the wonderful ways to experience the area. They were also wonderfully considerate of our dietary restrictions, which made us feel especially cared for. And if you love cats, you're in for a treat! The property is home to several sweet, cuddly farm cats who greeted us throughout our stay. The setting is nothing short of magical. One side of the property offers views all the way to the sea, while the other looks up into the surrounding hills. A lovely walking path winds through the grounds, where you can lose yourself among wildflowers and butterflies. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and savor every moment. Following our hosts' recommendations, we explored medieval fortresses, spent a blissfully relaxing day at the Terme di Vulci hot springs, and visited the inspiring Tarot Garden, a truly unique and unforgettable experience. We ended our stay with a spontaneous trip to the sea, where a dip in the water felt like letting all our worries melt away. + Terre di Vulci è un luogo stupendo a pochi minuti di distanza dalle Terme di Vulci, il Castello dell’Abbadia e la tomba François. La villa è circondata da filari di lavanda da cui Rya produce diversi prodotti che ci ha fatto trovare in stanza. Ho adorato l’acqua profumata, lo shampoo e il bagnoschiuma. Un’altra bellissima coccola è stato assaggiare il loro olio extravergine d’oliva biologico, davvero buono. Rya e Curzio sono persone meravigliose, disponibili e accoglienti. Sicuramente torneremo. Grazie di tutto!
