- Quite a lot of noise from the bar below until about 10:30 pm, but it didn't really disturb me. Leaving via the fire escape the next day was less than ideal as I have a problematic knee at the moment and the steps were wet after a lot of rainfall. There may have been another option for me, but I neglected to ask. There were 2 bedside, wall mounted lamps but I could not find any way to turn them on! Quite a lot of noise from the bar below until about 10:30 pm, but it didn't really disturb me. Leaving via the fire ...

+ Property was easy to find, large, old and interesting. The meals were reasonable in price and tasty. Staff were brilliant and even helped us with the local area, things to do etc. beds were clean and comfortable, and had plenty of space. Cost was good and we got good value for money in all.
− There were a couple of issues in regards to how ‘clean’ the room was and a couple of bits that could do with being addressed- that said- wasn’t bad enough for us to mention to staff as we were only using to sleep and clean up in! Found an eyelash extension in the top shelf of the wardrobe, in the drawer by the bed there were dead flies, there was a dirty towel hung on the back of the bathroom door. So like I said not bad enough for us to complain as I just threw the extension in the bin, shut the drawer (as I didn’t use it) and the towel we made sure went in the bath when we left to show it was dirty. The safety catch for the blind cord was loose and out of the wall.
