The property boasts a dining room with a high-vaulted ceiling, and a thriving friendly bar with a modern British menu. A traditional full English is available each morning, made using locally sourced produce. The property can cater for, and accommodate, parties and weddings.
The inn is 5 miles from Newbury town centre and Newbury Race Course is 5.5 miles away. The Carnarvon Arms was built as a coaching inn in the 1800s. It provided a stop-off for travellers to Highclere Castle, now the setting for TV drama Downton Abbey.
