- The shared kitchen advertised is not available to use, this was frustrating. The shower room is basic (as per the photo) but smelled damp, also no place to hang anything, even towels. No coathangers provided. I had to ask for loo paper! The obvious fire exit to use when the bar is closed (to leave in the morning) are metal stairs with narrow treads facing the street which were precarious in the rain. I asked at the bar if there was another exit - there was - via a flat roof with steps to the car park - more solid steps, felt much safer, wish this was explained on check in. + This is basic acommodation priced accordingly. It is part of the pub which also acts as reception and has car parking at the rear. Great location in centre of Kegworth. Rooms are basic, dated and the en suite also basic. It all works, is clean and fresh and bed was comfortable. Great for somewhere to sleep for the night for the price.
